Making "Right Choices" is a Satanic Doctrine

Are your beliefs based on God's Living Word? Or traditions of men?
Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul & strength

I am distraught at the teaching about how we need to make "Right Choices" a.k.a. "Divine Decisions" In order to live a blessed life in Christ. It's paradoxical to say this but, "It's bondage to believe in free will." It's the oldest Satanic lie in the bible. It is what the Apostle Paul referred to as "Doctrine of devils" to Timothy...Here’s why:

Dr. Wayne Cordeiro of New Hope Church in Hawaii, one of the fastest growing churches in America proclaimed that “The greatest gift God gave to man was the gift of choice!” Really? As a Christian, I always thought the greatest gift God gave to man was the Holy Spirit of God!

If you’ve been a bible reading Christian for a while you know that the Word of God says that through Jesus God gave gifts to men.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. However, you won’t find any reference to man’s “gift to choose” as a gift from God. Funny...If it’s the greatest gift that God gave to man, you’d think it would be mentioned at least ONCE in the whole entire bible.

Many "Mainstream" Christian churches are preaching this satanic doctrine every Sunday like it's the "Good News." Far more important than loving God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, which is the first commandment. The message of choosing is taught like it’s a revelation from God! The ability to “choose” is a revelation of the “mystery of God!” These mainstream teachers ingrain in your mind that if you make good choices then God will bless you! That blessings come from your ability to make good choices.

Really? A revelation to try and do good by making good choices? We never even thought of that before, now did we? BTW, didn't Eve think she was making a good choice to eat the fruit? I guess this new revelation of "Divine decisions" would have you not make the same choice as Eve? Yup, we have the Holy Spirit now. The Holy Spirit will teach us to make good choices. Yup, we couldn't figure out right from wrong before the Holy Spirit came. Yeah, right!

I'm warning you that the teaching of free choice is satanic. Why is this teaching satanic? Because the weapon of satan is to draw attention to yourself (did you not know you are gods?) and away from the Lord your God. Another weapon of satan is to confirm your belief that the choices you make determines God's favor upon your life. Your flesh will fall for this temptation since you lack the understanding of being ONE with Jesus and the Father. You are seeing your Christian life through the eyes of your flesh (which is from the ground where Satan dwells). Let's review how this all came about...

Consider this:
- If Eve could have made the right choice - She would have!
- You think you could have made the right choice in the garden? Think again!
- You were predestined to trangress, sin and then die!
- Jesus' redemption of man was foreordained before the foundation of the world!
- Not AFTER man's sin did God plan for Jesus to come.
- Therefor, God made all the "Right Choices" for you!
- But as Satan glorifies himself, so follows the teaching of making the "Right Choices!"

Every Sunday millions of American Christians are being told that making right choices will allow God to "favor" them. In other words, God cannot bless them if they make bad choices. That mentality is so very "Anti-Christ." But look at those who preach this concept...they look like their lives are wonderful in Christ because they made good choices. These are the Pharisees who love greetings in the market place! Because you want to be like these Christians, you elevate them on a pedestal of being a glorified Christian. And sadly without you realizing it, you give them the glory instead of Christ. And they want you to experience your own glory so that is why they preach this doctrine.

God does not share His Glory with anyman. Only Christ received the Father's glory.

You want to glory in the choices you've made?
How do these verses fit into your doctrine of free will?

  • Romans 8:29 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."
  • Ephesians 1:4,5 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will"
  • Ephesians 1:11 "In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will"
  • John 15:16 "(Jesus said) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit..."
  • 1 Peter 1:2 "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied."
  • John 1:3 "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." (Circumstances included!)
  • Colossians 1:16,17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
  • It's funny to see the carnal mind squirm with these verses.
You really think you're in control, huh? Only the humble mind and heart receives spiritual understanding.

    Imagine you in this scenario:
You are actually going to stand before the throne of God in the Judgement and tell God about all the right choices you made on His behalf. You are actually going to glorify yourself in front of God? (Lord, Lord, did we not cast out demons and heal the sick in your name???) No? But you're doing it now! We have no glory in and of ourselves. We are clay. Clay cannot say to the potter anything. We cannot say make us this way or that way. If the Lord wills, we shall be like this or that. If you want God's glory, you need to be in Christ Jesus - That's your spiritual understanding - This understanding is how you work out your salvation (Spiritual knowledge that He is in complete control).

The scriptures teach us that Jesus Christ was full of Grace and Truth. God has created things contrary to one another. God is a God of contrasts. There was a first Adam (earthy soul) and there is a last Adam (Spiritual). There are works of the flesh and fruit of the Spirit. There were 2 trees in the garden that produced opposite results. The opposites of sin and lies is grace and truth. So unless you experience sin and lies, how can you appreciate grace and truth? Trying to live up to making good decisions is a law unto itself and therefor breeds bondage in the believer.

There is no freedom in “choices.” Why? Because you don’t control your destiny. God does. So man leans on his own understanding in attempting to control His destiny through the belief of choices is utter vanity.

Who created everything? Did man create anything that wasn’t already created? All materials combined together to create a different form or gadget all came from the sources that God created in the first place!

By whose word are the planets and the galaxy held together? Can man’s word change that?

But, the “chooser” says in his heart, “God loves me so much that He let’s me choose! He’s a gentleman and won’t force Himself on anyone!” These statements are straight from the “pit of hell!” This is a temptation of satan for you to belittle God and make you to be god, giving yourself “control” over your life in your mind. This is spiritual warfare. Of course, your flesh LOVES IT! You really want to believe that you control your destiny - that God loves you so much He let’s you choose - especially Him. You forget He chose you first. You forget He loved you first. You are HIS choice. That’s what we are to appreciate and glorify Him as witnesses to His presence and Kingdom in your life. Receive this revelation.

It’s not about you. It’s all about Him!

Why would God do something so stupid to let His chosen ones choose Him when He calls us His “Elect” and He seals us with His Spirit. He knew us before the foundation of the world. But even though the scriptures actually tell us these truths, we still have the need to “make a choice.” So I guess it’s just godly “Double talk” This is why Chrisitanity is confused. The carnal mind so desperately wants to hang on to some kind of control. And how convincing would that satanic doctrine be if we tell everyone it’s all God’s plan!

Let's learn to be free from this Satanic doctrine by understanding why it's Satanic to begin with. It all started in the Garden of Eden when the serpent emphasized the "Choice" Adam and she had. The serpent said in Genesis 3:1
Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? What God actually said was: Gen 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. For this particular teaching we will focus only on the introduction of choice to Eve. We find that her mind was persuaded to do opposite of what God instructed them to do. That persuasion came from the serpent. Her "flesh" was persuaded. Her "mind" was persuaded. And her "spirit" was persuaded. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. 1Jo 2:16 For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.Eve's desire to choose is confirmed in Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.Jam 1:8 A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways. Would God know that number at any given moment: past, present and future? I think we can safely say that God focuses on all things big or small.

So the mind of God knows all things and is concerned about all things. But you still think you have a choice about your life. You believe your choices created your past and are creating the present situation you are in and are creating the future for you. You think you can will tomorrow the way you want it to be. Didn't the Apostle James say, "that if the Lord will, we shall do this or that?" Jam 4:15 For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. Whose will? God's right? So where do you get the idea that you are in control of tomorrow? I'll tell you where this thinking comes from:

It's called the tree of knowledge of good and evil! The tree of knowledge of good and evil represents contrasting opposites: good - evil, left - right, up - down, black - white = CHOICES! This is why the serpent said "You will be like gods." Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Wouldn't a "god" believe they are in control of everything? Just because God has allowed you to KNOW choices doesn't mean you're actually dictating the choice to happen. It has gone to your head that you believe you're in control of your own destiny. That's the "god-like" attitude the serpent was referring to. To think you're in control instead of God. That, my friend, is the wisdom of the world. That is how you thought all your natural life - before salvation. That is precisely the thinking of Eve when she saw that eating the fruit would make her wise. Eve making the "choice" made her feel wise. God says the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. Now that you walk with Jesus, you still think you are in control? Get over it! Choices are a state of mind as I have pointed out here from the time of Adam and Eve, God controls the cause and effect of the actual decision that is allowed by Him.

So either we have the ability to make good choices that will dictate the will of God or we don't. Because if we had the power to completely control our choices (cause and effect), then the plan for Jesus to come and be the unblemished lamb for the sins of the world would not have been planned before the foundation of the world!

Now when your read the bible, you see all the decisions made by the people written in the bible and you say, "Well, they must have made all those choices!" - But when you walk with the eyes of faith, what you actually see is God causing those choices to be made through them. And God therefor gets the glory for all things created: visible and invisible.

    Consider this:
    - He is the Potter - we are the clay
    - There are two seeds: One represents Satan, the other the Lord
    - The flesh is contrary to the Spirit, therefor our minds are constantly being tempted.

Try this fruitless excersize: Get a planner and plan all your choices for tomorrow by each second if you dare! Your mind will lean on it's own understanding. Ahha! There's a red flag indicating the flesh against the Spirit. List everything you want to do tomorrow over a 24 hour period. Now live it for each second and see if you can stay on track.

The reason why this is an important subject to understand is because it's the foundation of your faith. It's understanding the measure of grace that is given to you. It's the proper understanding of ALL Jesus has done for you and therefor He should receive ALL the glory with praise and thanksgiving. Do you have faith that God is in control of all things and His purpose and plans cannot be thwarted - OR - do you believe God's plans and purpose can be thwarted by man's disobedience or the actions of the devil? The Word says "Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please Him." Hbr 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. So wouldn't you want to have the proper foundation when "Walking by faith?" 2Cr 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) Faith in your ability to make good decisions or faith that God is in control 24/7? Do you praise Him for ALL things or just some things? Which do you believe? Which belief do you think gives God ALL the glory with praise and thanksgiving?

Jesus said in Jhn 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. We're not content to just abide in Christ - we want to know His will for our lives like there's some sort of psychic Holy Spirit force to discover. The Holy Spirit is not a psychic phenomena. Faith is knowing that you are exactly where you are in God's will and that His will is perfect and all you need to do is understand that you are to "abide" in it.

The Tree of Life that was in the Garden of Eden has been kept out of man's reach until the coming of Jesus the Christ. We are now able to receive eternal life by eating of the Tree of Life: Jesus. The Tree of Life is the understanding that Jesus is LIFE. Totally. He is the true LIFE - all the time - all His choices - all His glory - all His Life.

So how do you make the transition from believing in Free Will to God's Will? The first thing you should begin doing is thanking Him for all things that happen in your life. Good, bad, ugly, You thank Him. 1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. What this does is unleash a peace in you that God is in total control and no matter what happens, you are thankful knowing that: Rom 8:28,29 (God causes) all things to work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. I repeat, thank Him for everything: This is the works of your faith. 1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Also, understand this is all part of His wonderful plan for us. Rom 8:20, 21 For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but because of him who subjected it in hope, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. God allowing you to know good and evil means you are like Him as He proclaimed in the Garden of Eden, "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil..." This is part of His image. God said to KNOW good and evil - not to CHOOSE good and evil. To KNOW good and evil are to KNOW the choices - and thank Him for the choice He has made for you.

So in making the transition from believing in Free Will to believing in God's Will, you may be in question as to how you make any decision. Relax!!! Abide!!! God IS in control. This is where the Holy Spirit plays a big part in guiding you. It's a progressive relationship. We now embark on knowing the Mind of God (Christ). The more you gain understanding of ALL Jesus has done for you and who Jesus is, then you understand what choices He has made for you that you will walk in. HUH? Well, it takes a little explaining. But when the Word says to know what the will of the Lord is, that means you will know what His will is as you are faced with choices to make because you understand His thoughts, you hear His voice and you have the MIND of Christ. If you are not at this point, then you just go with your heart because it really doesn't matter since God already knows what you will think and what you will do - which is HIS will. I repeat: RELAX! You cannot thwart the plans and purposes of God. Pray for Wisdom and Understanding to learn of Him MORE and have an attitude of expectation to see the works of God unfold before your very eyes! Psa 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvelous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.

Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Some of you will naturally resist the teachings of this site due to the traditional teachings you have received since the day of your salvation. I will only say that your "flesh" is hanging on to whatever idea of control you want to maintain. Remember, you are but a vapor! You think vapor can control anything?

This site is not intended for argument. For most of you, I have been where your beliefs are and I cannot go back. I praise God for however He plans to use this site.

Your search for the truth should be directed to the Lord - so then the Holy Spirit can renew your mind in Christ.
